Ultrasonic Module HC-SR04 Distance Measuring Ranging Transducer Sensor DC 5V 2-450cm

A precise distance measurement and ranging sensor, the HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Module runs on DC 5V. It measures distances from 2 to 450 cm extremely accurately using ultrasonic sound waves. For object identification, obstacle avoidance, and distance measuring, this adaptable module is frequently used in robotics, automation, and do-it-yourself applications. It's a useful addition to projects where exact distance information is needed for efficient decision-making and control thanks to its simple interface and dependable performance.

1. Applications:-

Applications for the HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Module include robotics, automated systems, and DIY projects, such as distance measurement, obstacle detection, object avoidance, and level sensing.

2. Use method:-

To utilize the HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Module, connect it to a 5V DC power source. Trigger the module by sending a 10μs pulse to its trigger pin. Measure the duration of the echo pulse on the echo pin, and use this time to calculate distances ranging from 2cm to 450cm using the speed of sound equation.

3. Module Working Principle:-

The HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Module emits ultrasonic sound waves from its transmitter. These waves bounce off an object and return to the receiver. By measuring the time taken for the waves to return, the module calculates the distance to the object using the speed of sound (approximately 343 meters per second).
